About Chang
Hi, I’m Chang. I’m a software developer based in [REPLACE — city or region]. Most of my professional life has been spent on [REPLACE — one-line arc, e.g., “backend systems, platform tooling, and the unglamorous infrastructure that holds the interesting parts up”], and the work I find most satisfying is the kind where the answer turns out to be smaller and stranger than the question made it look.
Outside work I run a small fleet of servers in my house — a Proxmox host, a TrueNAS box, an OPNsense firewall, and a handful of services I keep alive mostly because the same problems I solve at my day job get more interesting when the only stakeholder is me. The /homelab page has the specifics. I also take pictures — [REPLACE — your photographic subject(s) and what draws you to them, e.g., “long walks, weather, the slow-light end of every day”] — and the Gallery here is where the ones I’m willing to keep live.
This site is a personal homepage written as a JRPG. The conceit is intentional. A personal site isn’t a resume and it isn’t a portfolio; it’s a small room with a few things in it that I made and want to share, and the playful framing makes that easier to admit. If you’re here to hire, the /resume room has the formal version. If you’re here to wander, that’s the better path.
